Jackson was never going to sign a one year six million dollar deal to pitch in Boston, in the AL East.

Calling this potentially one of the best offseasons in Red Sox history is just laughable.

i have been thinking for a while now that maybe barry zito would be a nice bounce back candidate, i also think he could benefit from a change of league scenario and he might not cost that much given that he does not have a rotation spot back in SF
